To multiply together 11 times any two digit number: ex. 23×11=253
-The ones digit of the number being multiplied by 11 is the ones digit of the answer. ex. the ones digit of 23 is 3, and this is the ones digit of the answer. _ _3
-Add the two digits of the number being multiplied times 11. This yields the tens digit of the answer (there may be a carry figure). ex. 23 gives 2+3=_5_
-The tens digit of the number being multiplied times 11 is the hundreds digit of the answer (don’t forget to add in any carry figure). ex. the tens digit of 23 is 2, and with no carry figure to add with it this is the hundreds digit of the answer. 2_ _
